Jacques Ouaniche writes, produces, and directs projects with a witness and humanistic perspective on our society. Since creating the series "Maison Close" on Canal+, producing L'Esquive, and writing and directing his feature film Victor Young Perez, Jacques has produced numerous works and written stories of rare relevance, such as his latest series, for which he is the writer and director, Crossing Gaza Blvd St Germain, currently airing on Ciné+ OCS. The series follows the love story between Yaël and Youssouf, a young French student couple torn apart by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

After developing several series bibles internationally, Jacques is in post-production on his latest feature film, Toujours Possible, a romantic comedy addressing the theme of a woman’s freedom of choice today. This topic, concerning women's condition in society, has always been important to him, dating back to his earliest scripts for the episodes of Maison Close.
