Jean Luc HERBULOT

WRITER-DIRECTOR, represented by ECI TALENTS in Africa and Asia

JEAN LUC HERBULOT started out directing music videos for independent artists, maintaining high creative standards even with low-budget productions.

In 2004, he directed his first short film, Vièrges(s). Then in 2009, he directed the short film Concurrence Loyale starring Thierry Frémont and Sagamore Stévenin, blending suspense, action, and dark humor. The film was acquired by Canal+, Orange, and distributed in Italy, Spain, Russia, and North Africa.

In 2014, JEAN LUC HERBULOT wrote and directed the feature film Dealer, which premiered at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal and opened L'Étrange Festival in Paris. It became one of the first French independent films acquired by Netflix.
