In 2023, Jonathan Bensimhon directed Rudy Gobert No. 27, a CANAL+ documentary dedicated to one of the greatest French basketball players in history. Following its strong audience success, he is currently shooting the sequel and is in editing on a new feature documentary about football star Djibril Cissé, also for CANAL+.
After making a name for himself in the music video industry, Jonathan collaborated with numerous French and international artists, developing a distinctive sense of rhythm, visual storytelling, and artistic direction that has become his signature style.
He has directed advertising campaigns, digital content, and branded films for companies, institutions, and organizations. His work combines strong visual aesthetics with a deep focus on character-driven storytelling and emotional impact.
Passionate about true-life stories and extraordinary journeys, Jonathan is now expanding into scripted television with the development of HOOPS, an 8 x 26-minute drama series set in the world of basketball.
