Born and raised in Marseille, in both heart and soul, writer-director LUC MURAT has been passionate about cinema for as long as he can remember. He graduated from the Ateliers de l'Image et du Son. LUC MURAT honed his skills on a wide variety of documentary and fiction films.

He directed his first short film, CODE OF HONOR, starring Marseille actor Moussa Maaskri. Staying true to his actors, he directed his first feature film, THE LAST RECRUIT, featuring Moussa Maaskri, Aymen Saidi, and American actor Malick Bowens.

He then wrote and directed the Spanish-language series A JAMAIS, which won four awards at the BUENOS AIRES WEBFEST, including Best Director, and earned several nominations at the NEW YORK WEB FEST, VANCOUVER WEB FEST, and MARSEILLE WEB FEST.

His next feature film is currently in development with a leading French producer.
