Zaid ABU HAMDAN is a Jordanian acclaimed filmmaker with an MFA in Filmmaking and BA in Communication Arts. Since 2011, Zaid's career has unfolded across six award-winning short films, and producer/Directed remarkable content for esteemed TV shows such as Sesame Street and E! Entertainment's Fashion Police. he also directed several successful commercial campaigns for luxury and lifestyle clients like Vogue Arabia and MAC Cosmetics.
In 2016, Zaid ABU HAMDAN transitioned to the UAE, assuming the role of the principal consultant at Image Nation's Arab Film Studio Programs in Abu Dhabi, mentoring 70 aspiring filmmakers to date.
Zaid ABU HAMDAN’s film "Bahiya & Mahmoud" made history as the first Arab short film eligible for an Oscar nomination. His debut feature film, "Daughters of Abdulrahman," garnered multiple audience awards and critical acclaim upon its 2022 release. Currently, Zaid is gearing up to release his second feature film, "Boomah”.
